Four SODELPA members have taken the party to court as they were not satisfied with how the issues they had raised were resolved.

SODELPA Leader Viliame Gavoka confirmed this during a press conference this afternoon.

Gavoka says the first writ was served in the High Court in Lautoka by Taitusi Rasoki, Ilaitia Bavadra, and Filise Matabogi and the second writ was served in Suva by Joni Raiyawa.

He says these members had highlighted that the procedures were not followed during some of their meetings.

He further says it is the right of party members to seek legal redress, and not to be intimidated into silence should they feel their grievances have not been dealt with according to their expectations.

He adds they are comfortable that everything was done transparently and it will be resolved their way.
