A Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji while a Flash Flood Warning remains for all flood prone areas, small streams and low lying areas of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

A Flood Alert remains in force for flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of major rivers of Viti Levu.

The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure associated with clouds and rain continues to affect the country for the next few days.

They say the water level at the Fiji Sugar Corporation Station in Ba which was above warning level is now decreasing, water level at Nadi Bridge Station was below alert level but is now gradually increasing.

Expect poor visibility on the roads, flooding of roads and settlements (formal and informal) in low lying areas and floodplains.

You can also expect significant disruption to traffic flow and transport route due to roads being flooded or closed.

The Nadi Weather Office says we can also have river and flash flooding of river catchments, leading to localised damage to infrastructure, agricultural farms and settlements near streams and riverbanks.

They add to also expect occasional rain, heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms over most places.
