Suva soccer team President, Ritesh Pratap says they do not have a major issue with their players’ fitness as they prepare for the Digicel Premier League match against Ba.

He says their players had continued with individual training for the last six months. Pratap adds the players also continued to receive an allowance and were required to send videos of their training.

He says apart from Joeli Ranitu and Ravinesh Karan Singh who have to miss the match because of suspension, other key players will take the field.

They will be relying on players like Simione Nabenu, Remueru Tekiate, Emori Raqata, Filipe Baravilala, Laisenia Raura, Meli Codro, Iosefo Verevou and Sahil Dave.

Pratap says one player has decided not to get vaccinated and he has been removed from the team while all the other players are fully vaccinated.

Ba and Suva have seven points each however due to better goals differential, the Men in Black is 5th on the points table while Suva is 6th.

Suva will host Ba at 3pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.

In other matches tomorrow, Nadi will host Rewa at Prince Charles Park while Navua will take on Nadroga at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.
