The Fijiana 7s team is out of contention for the 7s World Cup title after a heartbreaking 19-14 loss to France in the quarter final.
Fijiana scored first through Ana Maria Naimasi before France got their try on the stroke of half-time.
The half-time score was 7-all.
France scored first in the second half to extend their lead to 14-7 before Naimasi got her second try to level the scores.
France broke Fijian hearts on the stroke of full time with the match winning try.
Fijiana 7s will now play Ireland in the 5/8 playoff at 8.40 tonight.
The cup semi finals will be played from 10.07 tonight while the final will be played at 6.17am tomorrow.
