Fijiana XVs focuses on clarity ahead of Spain clash

The Vodafone Fijiana XVs are focusing on their clarity and knowing their roles during game day as they prepare for their final match in the WXV3 competition against Spain tomorrow.

Coach Mosese Rauluni says they messed up in these areas a few times against Samoa but they have taken the learnings and moved on from those mistakes.

He says Spain is a very physical side, very athletic and they will need to get the Spanish down early with good, solid tackles.

He says they had a really tough session earlier this week where they focused on contact and the players are hoping to take that into tomorrow’s match.

Rauluni says one of the areas as well that they are working on is their discipline in their defence as they have received 3 yellow cards in the last 2 matches and it was all through high tackles.

He says they have got to cut that out and they have got to aim lower and be disciplined in that area in defence.

The Fijiana XVs will take on Spain at 4.30am tomorrow in Dubai.
