The Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua are sure to defend their Super W title next season.

Fiji Rugby Union CEO, John O’Connor has quashed rumors that the Fijiana Drua’s future in the Super W competition is uncertain.

O’Connor has clarified that following a meeting with Rugby Australia they have confirmed the participation of the Fijiana Drua in the Super W Competition for the next two years.

O’Connor says they have also begun discussions of the possibility of hosting a few of the Fijiana Drua homes games in Fiji.

O’Connor says they will also be looking at re-branding the team before they begin their season next year as there has been a lot of confusion when differentiating between the Fijiana Drua and the national Fijiana women’s team.

Meanwhile, the FRU CEO says Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as major sponsor’s Rooster Chicken have also confirmed their support for the Fijiana Drua for the next two years.
