Fijiana Drua comes from behind to beat Waratahs 20-17 and book a place in the Super W final

The Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua came from behind to clinch a 20-17 win over the Waratahs and book their place in the Super W grand final next week.

The Drua had a slow start to the game conceding 3 early tries to the Waratahs before they regrouped to score two tries to prop Siteri Rasolea and centre Vani Arei to close the gap.

The Drua trailed the Waratahs at halftime 12-17.

Luisa Tisolo opened the scoring for the Drua in the second spell with a successful penalty-kick before Arei dived over for her second try in the 69th minute and also secured the win for the visitors.

The Drua will take on the winner of the second semi-final between the Reds and the Brumbies in the grand final next Saturday.

-25th minute: Vani Arei grabs another try for the Drua after a great phase of play from deep in their own territory. Conversion unsuccessful. DRUA 12-17 WAR.

-33rd minute: Drua makes a substitution. Evivi Senikaviri comes in for Setaita Railumu. DRUA 12-17 WAR.

-Half-time: Fijiana Drua 12-17 Waratahs.

-2nd Half kicks-off.

-41st minute: Waratahs penalised for off-side. Drua opts for a shot at goal. A penalty kick from Luisa Tisolo was successful. DRUA 15-17 WAR.

-47th minute: Drua applying the pressure 5 metres away from the Waratahs try line. Senikarivi commits a blunder and cost Drua a potential try. drua 15-17 war.

-50th minute: Drua continues to apply pressure inside the Waratahs' 10 metre line. Waratahs makes substitution. DRUA 15-17 WAR.

-61st minute: Waratahs knocks the ball on right at the Drua's try line after an impressive effort from the Drua. DRUA 15-17 WAR.

-69th minute: Vani Arei scores her second try for the Drua to give them the lead. conversion unsuccessful. DRUA 20-17 WAR.
