FijiFirst leads with 78,077 votes as official results come in for 1007 of the 2071 polling stations

Final result update as at 6:45am, Saturday 17th December, 2022

The FijiFirst Party continue to lead the official 2022 general elections results tally with 78,077 votes after the completion of the count at 1007 of the 2071 polling stations.

This is 41.65 percent of the votes counted.

The People’s Alliance is in second place with 67,201 votes which is 35.84 percent of the votes.

National Federation Party is in third place with 15,772 votes which is 8.41 percent of the votes counted. SODELPA has 10,367 votes which is 5.53 percent of the votes counted.

Fiji Labour Party has 5,495 votes, Unity Fiji has 5,471 votes, We Unite Fiji has 3,111 votes, All People’s Party 1,387 votes and New Generation Party has 460 votes.

Independent candidates Rajendra Sharma and Ravinesh Reddy have 92 and 46 votes respectively.

FijiFirst Leader, Voreqe Bainimarama has 53,060 of the party’s votes and has the most votes as a candidate in the election so far.

People’s Alliance Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka is in second place with 28,320 votes, FijiFirst General Secretary, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is next with 8,065 votes, Lynda Tabuya has 4,470 votes, Biman Prasad has 3,911 votes while Savenaca Narube has 2,802 votes.
