Fiji rugby heroes serving the frontline to combat COVID-19 and assist in the recovery efforts after TC Harold

Some of our rugby heroes are also serving on the frontline to combat COVID-19 and assist in the recovery efforts after Severe Tropical Cyclone Harold.

Fiji Airways National 7s playmaker, Livai Ikanikoda and wings, Alosio Naduva and Suliano Volivolituevei have been at the checkpoints and in the patrol team for Police.

7s wing, Aminiasi Tuimaba who is a soldier is part of the RFMF team clearing fallen trees and debris from the road after TC Harold. He was earlier clearing fallen trees with the RFMF team in Waidamudamu, Nausori.

Fiji Airways Drua Captain, Mosese Voka who is a firefighter is part of the National Fire Authority’s rescue service.


Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama with members of the RFMF including Aminiasi Tuimaba and Alasio Naduva.

Fiji Rugby says they would like to thank all the players who are on the frontline across the country making sure everyone is safe in this difficult time
