The much anticipated Cape Town 7s tournament in South Africa is underway and Fiji will need to improve on their defence if they want to win this tournament.

Fiji defeated Argentina 19-12 in their last pool game and will meet France in the quarter-final at 9.40pm.

New Zealand lost twice in their pool stages but still managed to secure a quarter-final spot.

In other quarter-final games, Argentina will take on Canada at 8.34pm, Ireland will face New Zealand at 8.56pm and Australia will take on the hosts South Africa at 9.18pm

The semi-finals will start at 12.56am tomorrow and the cup final will be at 5.23am tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s will meet France at 7.44 tonight, Australia will play Ireland in the second Cup quarter-final at 7pm and Great Britain will play the USA at 8.06pm.

The women’s semi-finals will start at 12.12am tomorrow and the cup final will be at 4.43am.
