The Fiji Water Flying Fijians match day 23 squad to take on Wales in their first Rugby World Cup match on Monday has been named with Teti Tela taking over the flyhalf duties.

Coach Simon Raiwalui has named a mixture of young and experienced players for this much anticipated clash.

Eroni Mawi, Samuela Matavesi and Luke Tagi will start in the front row with Isoa Nasilasila and Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta pairing up at locks.

Albert Tuisue and Lekima Tagitagivalu will be on the flanks with Viliame Mata anchoring the scrum at number 8.

Frank Lomani and Tela will form the halves pair while Vinaya Habosi and Selestino Ravutaumada will be on the wings.

Semi Radradra and captain Waisea Nayacalevu will be at the centres with Ilaisa Droasese at fullback.

The bench will have a lot of impact with Tevita Ikanivere, Peni Ravai, Mesake Doge, Temo Mayanavanua and Levani Botia covering the forwards.

Simione Kuruvoli, Josua Tuisova and Sireli Maqala will cover the backline.

The Flying Fijians will take on Wales at 7am Monday in Bordeaux.

The RWC kicks off tomorrow with host France taking on the All Blacks at 7.15am in Paris.
