The Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s team needs to qualify for the cup quarter final at the Toulouse 7s to secure automatic qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Currently sitting in third place with 130 points ahead of France who are in fourth place with 122 points and have automatically secured their place for the games next year as hosts, the pressure is now coming in from Australia who are sitting at 5th with 112 points.

But Fiji will not rely on the equation as they will want to wrap up this 2022/2023 World 7s series on a high by winning the remaining two legs.

The Fiji men’s team will play the USA at 12.57am Saturday in their first pool match, they play South Africa at 7.03am Saturday and battle France at 12.11am Sunday in their final pool game.

The men’s cup quarter-finals will start at 3.16am Sunday, the cup semi-finals will begin at 11.32pm Sunday and the cup final will be held at 3.56am Monday.

The Fijiana 7s team will play Spain at 8pm Friday in their first pool game, they will then take on Japan at 1.30am Saturday before playing Great Britain at 7.37pm Saturday.

The women’s cup quarter finals will start at 1.26am Sunday, the cup semi finals will be at 7.44pm Sunday and the cup final will be at 3.26am next Monday.
