Fiji focusing on starting SVNS series on a high note

As the countdown begins for the HSBC SVNS Series, the Fiji Airways National 7s team is focused on starting the series on a high note as they face USA in Dubai this afternoon.

Lanky forward Joseva Talacolo says having new players will not stop them from the fact that they will give their utmost best to win the series opener this weekend.

Talacolo says the players have come together with one aim, which is to work hard and have a good season that begins today.

Fiji will face the USA at 6.06 this afternoon in their first pool game before playing France at 9.52 tonight and they then play Great Britain at 4am tomorrow in their final pool match.

The cup quarter finals will begin at 6.58pm tomorrow, the cup semi finals will kick off at 10.04pm tomorrow and the final will be at 3.53am Monday.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team will take on Great Britain at 5.44 this afternoon and then play South Africa at 8.43 tonight in their second pool match before taking on New Zealand at 1.35am tomorrow.

The Women’s Cup quarter finals will kick off at 5.30pm tomorrow, the semi finals will be at 9.20pm tomorrow and the final will be at 3.13am Monday.
