The International Women's Association has received a $200,000 donation from the Fiji Water Foundation.

International Women’s Association President, Judy Compain says this donation from the FIJI Water Foundation is a partnership with them to upgrade and renovate the CWM Maternity and CWM Children’s Hospital bathrooms and is a testament to both organizations' commitment to helping to improve the lives of women and children.

Compain says she is very excited and extremely grateful to the FIJI Water Foundation for the confidence and trust placed in them and thanked them sincerely for the very timely and generous donation that will assist them to fulfill their commitment to making a difference in the Maternity and Children’s Hospitals.

She adds the CWM Maternity and Children’s Hospitals are critical institutions in Fiji, serving our mothers and children. The IWA President further adds this partnership is a real testament to the importance of corporate social responsibility and the power of collaboration in driving positive changes for our communities.

She says women represent the cornerstone of a family’s overall health so we must ensure and support her access to clean facilities and quality care that can lead to improved health for newborn babies, children, and ultimately, whole families.

Compain adds the IWA is committed and excited to be working with the FIJI Water Foundation and hopes that with this new partnership, more corporate organizations will support the IWA as we will continue to take on projects that focus on supporting women and children in the community.

The IWA will project manage the work in the Hospitals.

Meanwhile, the CWM Hospital Cleanup Campaign is happening tomorrow.
