Despite a disappointing 4-0 defeat against Slovakia in their FIFA U20 World Cup opener, the Digicel Fiji U20 team remains determined to bounce back stronger.

Head Coach Roberts Mimms and the players expressed their disappointment over the team’s inability to execute their game plan, but they are optimistic about learning from the experience and delivering improved performances in the upcoming matches.

Mimms acknowledged the team’s disappointment but remains hopeful that the players will grow from the World Cup experience and demonstrate their potential in the forthcoming matches.

Fiji will now play USA at 6am Wednesday in their second group match.
