The Fiji Pearls are just a win away from qualifying to the 2023 Netball World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa.

The Pearls are currently sitting in second place in the overall standings with 4 points while Cook Islands and Samoa are third with two points each.

The Fiji Pearls beat Samoa 45-43 in their match last night to keep their World Cup hopes alive while Tonga Tala secured their World Cup spot after their 70-43 win over Cook Islands.

Fiji Pearls coach, Unaisi Rokoura says they could not have secured this win without the home crowd support.

Fiji Pearls captain Alisi Naqiri says they have a lot of faith in the team.

The Fiji Pearls will face Cook Islands at 4pm today at the Vodafone Arena while Samoa will take on PNG at 2pm.

The admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12.
