Passport services will be temporarily suspended from the 4th to the 22nd of March due to the relocation of the Immigration Office. The Ministry of Immigration and Home Affairs says the Fiji Immigration will be moving to the Ram Lala Ramdin Building, 40 Robertson Road, Suva from Friday 2nd of February.

They say the temporary suspension period will allow for the moving and installation of the passport system at the new building.

The Ministry also advises that from 29th January, the department will no longer accept payments made with cash or cheques as EFTPOS and M-Paisa will be the only accepted method of payments at all immigration offices.

They say this is in line with the government initiative for a cashless system to ensure effective and efficient management of public funds and to promote transparency and accountability.
