Fiji Men's football qualifies for semi finals

Fiji Men's football team has qualified for the semi finals in the 2023 Pacific Games after Tahiti failed to beat Fiji's goal difference against Northern Mariana Islands.

The Women's football team has also secured their spot in the semi finals after defeating Solomon Islands 4-1 last night.

Both teams will play their respective semi finals earlier next week.

Fiji is currently in 7th place in the overall Pacific Games medal tally with 7 gold, 13 silver and 13 bronze medals. New Caledonia is leading with 46 gold, 32 silver and 29 bronze while Australia is in second place with 24 gold, 16 silver and 7 bronze.
