The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s are out of the Hamilton 7s cup competition after being beaten 26-10 by Argentina.

Sevuloni Mocenacagi scored the only try for Fiji in the first half as Fiji trailed 21-5 at the break.

Vilimoni Botitu scored another try in the second half but it was not enough as Argentina scored a late try to seal the victory.

Fiji had to win the match to secure its place in the semifinal.

Coach Gareth Baber says he is disappointed with the loss.

Meanwhile, in the first semi-final, England will play France at 3.20 pm

Australia will most likely face New Zealand in the second semifinal at 3.42 pm.

The Hamilton 7s final will be played at 7.56 pm.
