The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side are all psyched up for their semi final clash against Australia this afternoon, knowing it will not be an easy task playing the host nation.

Despite topping their pool, Fiji had not led any of their three matches in Perth, securing come-from-behind wins ahead of their Cup quarter final at halftime.

Fiji will also be looking to break their 16-tournament losing streak this weekend as they try to set a good platform building up to the Paris Olympics later this year.

Nippy playmaker Terio Veilawa will be a huge threat to the opposition after showing his class in the past two days, scoring winning tries and also setting up winning tries from the pool match and the quarter final as well.

The 29-year-old has scored four tries so far in the tournament and all eyes will be on him today as the Aussies will be labelling him as a threat to their defence.

Fiji will take on Australia in the second semi final at 5.34pm today.

In another semi final, Ireland will take on Argentina at 5.10pm today.

The Men’s Cup final will kick off at 9.53 tonight.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s side will take on Canada at 6.15pm today in the 7th place play-off.
