Fiji FA invests $1 million in the Labasa Academy Ground

The Fiji FA Academy Ground in Labasa will receive a $1 million upgrade for further football development opportunities in the North.

Fiji Football Association CEO, Mohammed Yusuf confirmed this to fijivillage News when asked if they are planning to host any other football tournament in Labasa.

Yusuf says they will also add some seating areas for their fans before considering tournaments to be played there.

The CEO further says they may consider bringing the Inter District Championship to Labasa.

He adds that he is grateful for the huge turnout of people at Subrail Park over the long weekend to witness the Fiji FACT group matches.

Meanwhile, in the semi finals, Labasa will face Lautoka at 2pm on Saturday while Navua will play Ba at 4.30pm.

Both games will be played at Subrail Park in Labasa.

The final will be on Sunday.
