The Fiji Bitter Savusavu 7s has grown over the years and they are proud to have produced some of the top players in Fiji over the last 15 years since its inception.

This was highlighted by tournament organiser Malakai Yamaivava as they gear up for this year’s event in December.

Yamaivava says the emergence of players from this tournament really shows the progress that they have made.

He says it is also great to see players from the three provinces in the North (Cakaudrove, Bua and Macuata) making it big on the world stage and it is tournaments like this that help develop the grassroots rugby in Fiji.

Yamaivava is urging all teams that want to participate in this tournament to register their teams now to avoid disappointment.

He earlier highlighted that they have added Futsal to this year’s event as they look to expand the tournament going forward.

The Savusavu 7s will be held from the 14th to the 16th of December.
