The Fiji Airways men’s National 7s team will be leaving our shores tonight for the upcoming Los Angeles 7s tournament.

With a mission of winning the tournament and boosting their chances of improving their standings in the overall World 7s series standings, the team is fully focused on the task at hand.

Coach Ben Gollings will be leaving no stone unturned as he will also be looking to redeem himself after questions were raised about the poor performance of the team in the last few tournaments at the beginning of the 2022/2023 HSBC Sevens World series.

Earlier this week, Gollings named four new debutants for the upcoming tournament with the hope of injecting new energies into the squad and giving the team a little bit of shake-up.

Meanwhile, Fiji will play Japan at 7.05 am in their first pool match next Sunday, they will then take on Kenya at 10.18am before playing Australia at 2.05pm on Sunday.
