A father from Nasautoka, Wainibuka in Tailevu expressed his gratitude after his 1-year-old daughter received free, life-saving heart surgery at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital.

Kalivati Baleidrokadroka says the medical team’s dedication and care was outstanding.

The father says that without this assistance, the cost of surgery would have been too high for them.

His daughter, Adi Bale, underwent a less invasive heart procedure on the surface of her heart, instead of open-heart surgery.

After getting their daughter examined, doctors confirmed she needed surgery.

Baleidrokadroka is encouraging all parents and guardians to make use of such free health services.

He advises not to wait until an illness becomes serious, as many times parents act too late.

He also thanked the hospital, supporting businesses, and faith-based organizations that make these services possible.

The Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital continues to provide free, high-quality heart care for children across Fiji and the Pacific.
