A group of single mothers and their children from the Loloma Home and Care Centre were hosted to a lunch today at the myFNPF Centre in Nadi by FNPF, Home & Living, Rosie Tours and the food court tenants of my FNPF Centre.

FNPF provided gift packs while Home & Living provided farming tools and Rosie Tours provided transportation.

Satya Fast Food, Jis Hand Pull, JnR, Yamyam Fabulous Food, Indiana and Tea Time restaurants provided lunch.

FNPF CEO Viliame Vodonaivalu says while we celebrate the lives of our mothers, we also remember those that have endured challenges due to circumstances that are beyond their control.

He says events such as Mother's Day often bring out the spirit of community and they are blessed to contribute a small part towards making the day an enjoyable one for these mothers and their children.

Home & Living General Manager Ronald Narayan says they are delighted to assist residents with farming equipment they will use to cultivate their farms and generate an income.

The Loloma Home and Care Centre residence has 12 single mothers and 15 children under their care.
