A 24-year-old farmer from Lautoka was brought in for questioning and released in the case where a man was stabbed in Saweni, Lautoka.
Police say no one has been charged yet.
The 35-year-old carpenter from Saweni, Lautoka was stabbed on Thursday and passed away yesterday morning.
Police say the man who was from Saweni was standing along the roadside in Saweni at around 8.30pm when a passing car stopped, an unknown person got off, stabbed him with a knife and got away in the vehicle.
Police say they will wait for the post-mortem exam result before they classify the death.
