Fans and supporters are promised top-class rugby on show this week at the 15th Fiji Bitter Savusavu 7s which will kick off this Thursday at Ratu Ganilau Park in Savusavu.

In an interview with fijivillage News, tournament organiser Malakai Yamaivava says this tournament is set to be a thriller as grassroots teams will be looking to showcase their talents against some of the top teams in the country.

Yamaivava says this Fiji Bitter series is all about developing grassroots teams and this week’s tournament in Savusavu will be another great testament to it.

He says this year’s tournament will have 24 teams in the Men’s category and the Under 18-21 as well and 4 teams win the Women’s category.

He adds this year’s Savusavu 7s tournament will also feature a few other different sports like netball, volleyball, futsal and snooker as well and it is what makes this tournament stand out.

Yamaivava says ticket prices will also be affordable within the first two days, tickets for adults will be $5 and children under 12 will be $2 while tickets will be $7 for adults and $2 for children under 12 on the final day of the tournament.
