Fans are gathering at Churchill Park, Lautoka to witness a one off event of two NRL giants in the Melbourne Storm taking on Newcastle Knights with some coming all the way from Melbourne.

Maxwell Wolfgramm says he has been a Storm fan since he was 1 because it is the only NRL team in Victoria.

Wolfgramm, who was born here but raised in Australia says he travelled up with the family from Nadi to watch the game.

Die hard Storm fans Sarah and Charlene who are mother and daughter from Brisbane say they have been fans since 1997.

The Bloomfield family travelled up from Momi Bay with friends of theirs who were visiting from Canada.

At the moment the family is split on who they will be cheering for with some agreeing to cheer for the Storm with the others going for the Knights.
