Noted Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK has passed away at the age of 53 after suffering from a heart attack.
The singer reportedly fell unwell while performing at a concert at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata, India.
He returned to his hotel and collapsed.
He was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute, where doctors declared him dead.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to offer condolences.
He says he is saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer of KK.
Modi says his songs reflected a wide range of emotions as struck a chord with people of all age groups.
He adds we will always remember him through his songs.
