A family is mourning the loss of its loyal, loving and full-of-life pet dog named Oscar.

The family alleges that while Oscar was helplessly stuck in their fence, he was brutally beaten to death by two drunk men.

Photos from the scene were also shared by the family.

The family has expressed their gratitude to the Nabua Police for arresting the suspects.

They say no animal deserves to go through such pain and are pleading with the Fiji Police Force to deal with the suspects strictly.

We have sent questions to Police.

They are yet to respond.
