The Fiji Sugar Corporation is inviting expressions of interest from global investors, developers, and sugar industry experts to help build a brand-new, state-of-the-art sugar mill in Fiji.
The proposed mill will have a crushing capacity of 10,000 tonnes of cane per day and will include modern processing, packaging, and energy generation facilities.
FSC says interested parties can visit the project sites to finalise details and explore financing options.
They say the development will also focus on using by-products like molasses, bagasse, and filter mud for ethanol, electricity, fertiliser, and more — aiming for a sustainable and integrated operation.
FSC says parties are required to submit their company profile, technical expertise, financial plans, and global project experience, along with a letter confirming their ability to fund the development.
They say this major project is part of FSC’s plan to modernise the sugar industry and attract international partnerships.
Interested parties are to register on the FSC TenderLink portal at https://portal.tenderlink.com/sugarsoffiji and submit their Expressions of Interest, along with all required documents by 30th September.
Applicants can also visit the FSC website at www.fsc.com.fj for additional background information.
