The Fiji Rugby Union will be reviewing all its domestic competitions, with a key focus on the cost of running them.
FRU Acting Chief Executive Officer Koli Sewabu says plans are already underway, and some competitions are already locked in for this year, while cost considerations remain a major factor.
He says he understands a lot of teams want to enter the Vanua Cup competition, but their commercial team will work hard over the next few months to see if they can secure further sponsorship, so it can cater to the growth and the demand of teams wanting to play in the Vanua competition.
Sewabu says they will also review the women’s competition to find the most feasible way to run the domestic competition and align it with upcoming global tournaments.
