FRU appoints three new board members

Biu Colati, Amani Bale and Dr Emosi Taloga have been appointed as a new board members of the Fiji Rugby Union.

Colati is the current Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union executive, Bale is a prominent lawyer at Lal Patel Bale Lawyers Suva and Dr Taloga is a specialist Orthopedic Surgeon and the FRU Physiotherapist.

The three were appointed during the FRU Annual General Meeting that was held in Novotel, Lami.

They will be replacing outgoing members Carl Ngamoki-Cameron, Max Olsson and Ratu Aisea Vosailagi.

FRU Chief Executive Officer John O’Connor says they will be arranging a ceremony in their next board meeting to welcome and farewell those members who are joining and leaving the organisation.

O’Connor also thanked those outgoing members for their contribution to the development of rugby in the country.
