The Fiji Roads Authority is concerned with the irresponsible act of some people who are burning trash under Draunivi Bridge in Ra.

FRA CEO Jonathan Moore says they found burnt materials of household waste under the bridge.

Moore says this is unacceptable as it not only jeopardises public safety, but it also compromises the bridge structure which is associated with costly repairs.

He adds that this is also harmful for the environment causing health hazards for the motorists and the communities and they want the public to act responsibly and refrain from such acts.

Moore is calling on the public to be vigilant and report such acts to Police.
