FNU Vice-Chancellor Professor Toby Wilkinson says they are putting two classrooms at their nursing campus at the disposal of the Health Ministry to help with their data processing and contact tracing operations.

He has also thanked students at the Kivi Hostel who have agreed to move rooms so that the Ministry of Health can use the hostel for frontline staff working at the CWM Hospital just across the road.

Wilkinson says this is a great example of public service and about putting the needs of our communities first.

He says all these measures are being carried out in strict accordance with COVID-19 protocols.

It has also been announced by the Permanent Secretary for Health Doctor James Fong that they have supplemented their internal staffing with final year medical and dental students from FNU.
