Fiji National Provident Fund members can now submit funeral assistance applications on the myFNPF App.

Members can also submit the Advice of Death online.

Chief Executive Officer, Viliame Vodonaivalu says the Fund continues to explore avenues to shift its services to its digital platforms for ease of access for its members.

He says the funeral assistance withdrawals is a benefit accessed by many members. The Fund paid out close to $6 million to members under this withdrawal ground in the 2021 financial year.

Vodonaivalu says they aim to keep the processing time to a minimum, taking into account that members are in a difficult period as they come to terms with the loss of a loved one.
