As we get closer to the Coca-Cola Games 2024, the FM96 personalities are adding to the hype by producing a new theme song for the Games this year called “Don’t Trip” which was originally written and sung by themselves.

FM96 Content Director Joana “Bunene” Ravono says the song is all about hyping up schools for this annual event.

Ravono says she was even surprised about the talent that some of the FM96 personalities had when they wrote this song.

She says they are excited about this new venture that they have stepped into and they look to produce more songs for events like this in the future.

FM96 announcer Tifa Vataiki, who wrote the song, says over the years, they have had a few artists that have stepped in to help them with writing theme songs for the Coca-Cola Games, but this year, they have decided to take on the challenge and write the song on their own.

Vataiki says this song is about sharing the Games spirit and nothing negative towards any schools or bringing any hate to the participating schools.

Peniana Lido, who is also an FM96 Crackfast show host, says they just want to put all the emotions that are felt at the Games into the song.

Lido says it was a passion project for them and they are content with how it turned out.

She says they are hoping that people will love this song just as much as they do.

The song “Don’t Trip” was released this morning on our radio station FM96.
