FHL subsidiary companies like Basic Industries Limited, Merchant Finance and Pacific Cement Pte Limited are affected

Fijian Holdings Limited has confirmed its subsidiary companies have been affected by the travel restrictions and lockdown of Lautoka City because of COVID-19.

FHL says following the travel restriction announcement by government, South Sea Cruises Cruises will be calling off services with the closure of resorts in Yasawa’s and Mamanuca.

FHL subsidiary companies like Basic Industries Limited, Merchant Finance and Pacific Cement Pte Limited are affected with the lockdown in Lautoka.

FHL says Lomolomo Quarry supplies raw materials to Standard Concrete in Nadi and these transfers are also affected as the Lomolomo quarry falls within the lockdown zone.

FHL Acting Chairman Yogesh Karan says the board of these subsidiary companies and its management are working closely on sustainable strategies in respect to business operations and managing resources at this time.
