The Mokani Rugby Club in Tailevu has received a sponsorship of $4,000, while Eastern Saints Rugby received their rugby kits valued at $8,000 from FA and Company.

The Head of FA and Company, Isireli Fa, thanked the executive members of the two rugby clubs for their achievements in the 2023 rugby season and their participation in the Tailevu and Suva Rugby Union club games competition.

He says their family is very happy to sponsor their rugby clubs because they observe and witness that their rugby development process is very successful.

Fa says they have read on the news and social media about the achievements of their young players here in Fiji and abroad.

He says that they were briefed by the Executive Committee of the respective rugby clubs on the rugby contract and employment opportunities that have been secured by our young grassroots rugby players and they are very proud of their sponsorship that has empowered young rugby players.

He adds they know that their sponsorship will empower the lives of the young rugby players, to be good citizens and be a source of inspiration and blessing to their families.

Mokani Rugby Club Chairman Simione Voceduadua says the sponsorship will develop their young grassroots rugby players to be the best and to win.

He says the club was established in 1960 as an affiliated member of the Tailevu Rugby Union and has been championing accountability, transparency, and good governance.

Head of the Eastern Saints Rugby Club, Seremaia Bai acknowledged the continuous sponsorship offered by the Company and they have developed players that come from different backgrounds.

He says through this sponsorship, they have a lot of players who have secured rugby contracts and employment opportunities.
