FA Cup: Nottingham books semi final showdown against Manchester City after 4-3 win over Brighton

Crystal Palace to face Aston Villa in another semi final

Nottingham Forest have booked a semi final showdown against Manchester City in the FA Cup after edging Brighton 4-3 in a penalty shootout.

This will be Nottingham’s first ever FA Cup semi final since 1991 and will hope to create something more special this season.

Manchester City kept their trophy hopes for this season alive after edging Bournemouth 2-1 this morning .

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace will face Aston Villa in another semi final.

The semi finals will be held on the 26th of April.
