England U21s have successfully defended their European title with a dramatic extra-time 3-2 victory over Germany in Bratislava, Slovakia today.
England took an early lead through Harvey Elliott, who scored his fifth goal of the tournament after just five minutes, which was doubled by Omari Hutchinson in the 24th minute.
Germany fought back strongly, with Nelson Weiper pulling one back with a powerful header in first-half injury time.
England led Germany 2-1 at half-time.
The second half saw both teams pushing for a goal, and Paul Nebel equalised for Germany in the 61st minute.
The game remained tense, and substitute Jonathan Rowe scored a late header in the 92nd minute, just two minutes after coming on, securing the Euro 2025 crown for England.
