The Education Summit that will be held in August this year will review the curriculum and discussions will focus on e-learning, digital literacy and TVET courses.

While confirming this during the meeting of the heads of schools and school managers from Labasa, Seaqaqa and Dreketi at the Friendly North Inn, Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro says the summit will provide them the opportunity to review the current status of the education system.

He says prior to this, there will be 4 pre-education summits where one will be held in the west and one in the Northern Division.

The Minister says they will identify the gaps and challenges in order to develop the education system so that it meets the needs of the 21st century learner.

Radrodro is encouraging school management committees and heads of schools to be a part of this initiative.
