Education Ministry waiting for damage assessment report to decide on source of funding to repair schools damaged by TC Harold

Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar says they will have to wait for damage assessment reports from all the schools before they decide on where to source the funds from to repair schools such as Bhawani Dayal Arya College that was damaged due to TC Harold.

The Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji spokesperson, Kamlesh Arya says the estimated damage at Bhawani Dayal is $250,000 and it could take up to 6 months for the work to be completed.

The rooftop of the double-storey school block was blown away.
