Liverpool’s season went from bad to worse as the reigning Premier League champions suffered a 3–0 defeat against Nottingham Forest.
The side was hoping to recover from their heavy loss to Manchester City, but Forest outplayed them throughout and were leading 1-0 at halftime.
Liverpool, now 11th, have lost six of their last seven league games, while Forest move up to 16th as their revival continues.
In other results, Chelsea defeated Burnley 2-0, Bournemouth and West Ham United settled for 2-2 draw, Brighton beat Brentford 2-1, Fulham defeated Sunderland 1-0, Crystal Palace beat Wolves 2-0.
