Lenaitasi Duru has resigned as the SODELPA General Secretary.

Duru says his resignation is a principled stand as the People's Alliance has been attacking them left, right and centre.

He says the People's Alliance must be crazy if they think that he will work for them and he says "they can go to hell."

Duru says he is not going to sign the Memorandum of Agreement and SODELPA can go and find someone to sign it.

He adds he has a letter of a pending case against SODELPA in Lautoka and he will be presenting this letter to the authorities.

Meanwhile, a Memorandum of Agreement regarding the coalition government was signed tonight by the Leader of People's Alliance Sitiveni Rabuka, the Leader of the National Federation Party Professor Biman Prasad and the SODELPA Vice President Anare Jale.
