Lenaitasi Duru, who resigned as SODELPA General Secretary last night is now planning to have a press conference after writing to President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere.
Duru had asked for the parliament sitting not to be called until some issues are addressed.
He confirms he has received a response from the President's Office.
We are still waiting for the Office of the President to confirm when he will summon parliament to sit.
We are also awaiting comments from SODELPA on Duru writing to the President and his status as General Secretary.
