Duituturaga meets with SODELPA’s parliamentary caucus to talk about the parliamentary grant

Duituturaga meets with SODELPA’s parliamentary caucus to talk about the parliamentary grant

Emele Duituturaga.

SODELPA General Secretary, Emele Duituturaga met with the party’s parliamentary caucus earlier today to talk about the parliamentary grant.

Duituturaga says the directive from the Speaker of Parliament is very clear as to what the grant is about.

She says that the SODELPA parliamentary caucus wanted an assurance from her office that they were working within those guidelines.

Duituturuga adds that she produced a financial report and the caucus were satisfied with that.

She has also said that they have not heard back from the Speaker about the request by Party President Ratu Epenisa Cakobau to conduct another election for the Leader of Opposition.
