Dubai 7s: Fijiana beat Canada 28-26

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s have won their second game beating Canada 28-26 in the Dubai 7s.

Fijiana scored back to back tries within minutes of the kick off through Olympians Reapi Ulunisau and Sesenieli Donu.

Alowesi Nakoci got a try just before the break to extend the lead for the Fijiana.

Canada started the second half with a strong performance scoring two tries and taking the lead after a yellow card to the Fijiana.

Former Jasper athlete Laisana Likuceva was the saviour for the Fijiana scoring a try at the stroke of full time with Ulunisau adding the conversion to give the girls their second win in the Dubai 7s.

The Fijiana will play Russia at 3.05am tomorrow before taking on Great Britain at 9.07pm tomorrow in their final pool match.

The women’s bronze final will be at 2.07am Sunday while the final will be at 2.57am Sunday.
