The Fiji Airways men’s national 7s team have qualified for the Cup semi-finals where they will meet USA after beating Kenya 19-5.

Kenya started the game strong by scoring early and denying Fiji possession for majority of the first half.

Fiji gave away 8 penalties before finally getting ball-in-hand which saw Joseva Talacolo break away from the halfway mark to score for Fiji.

Filipe Sauturaga scored the second try after gathering the ball from broken play deep inside Fiji's territory and sprinting to the try-line.

Panapasa Qeruqeru came off the bench in the second half to score Fiji's third try.

In other quarter finals, Argentina beat Ireland 17-12, South Africa beat Australia 29-5 and USA thrashed Great Britain 35-17.
