Police have questioned the driver of the vehicle that was involved in the fatal road accident along Sawani/Serea Road on Saturday morning.
They are continuing with investigations.
A man in his 30s died in the crash.
Police say the vehicle veered off the road along Sawani/Serea Road.
Eight other passengers sustained injuries and are admitted in the hospital.
The road death toll currently stands at 30 compared to 47 for the same period last year.
